How to set up Tiktok Pixel for Shopify

Setting up Tiktok Pixel for Shopify 2024 involves several steps to ensure you can effectively create, manage, and analyze your ads. Here’s a comprehensive guide:


Step 1: Create your Tiktok ad account


  1. Sign in to your TikTok for Business account.

  1. sign up your ad account


  1. Complete the business information and billing



Step 2: Install Pixeltok by Adtrace in Shopify App


  1. Go to your Shopify admin account
  2. Go to settings and then click on Apps and sales channels

  1. Search Adtrace and select Adtrace for tiktok pixel

  1. Click Install

  1. Follow the onboarding process
    • approve subscription - Billing

    • connect your tiktok ad account

    • add your tiktok pixel -

Note that there is also to an option to add your pixel manually.


Step 3 - Set up your Enhanced Tracking

  1. In your Adtrace dashboard you will see a banner saying " Enhanced Tracking is not active. Setup now for improved pixel event accuracy."

  1. Click the set up button and follow the instructions and verify.
